The sessions for the heads of the states of the SIC member states and the High Council of the Eurasian Economic Union started in Belarusian capital. Armenia’s President is in Minsk on a working visit.
In the context of aggravated political situation in the world and growing international tensions, the cooperation should be valued, he says. President Sargsyan said in his speech deepening of the cooperation in all spheres, from cultural to military, is a priority. He noted the important role of Kazakhstan as the next chairing state at the SIC. Over two dozens of documents were debated by the participants aim at speeding up the integration processes, as well as to bring institutional clearness into the post-Soviet countries.
During his speech at the Eurasian Economic Union’s High Council Serzh Sargsyan spoke about the peculiarities of Armenian membership to the union. The President expressed the readiness for closer cooperation aiming at the implementation of the purposes envisaged in agreements concerning the EEU.
