A school construction, Russian church building in Yerevan, festival of Russian song and language, and much more were discussed by Ara Abrahamyan, President of the Union of Armenians of Russia, and the journalists.
He also spoke about Armenia’s membership to the Eurasian Economic Union, the events on the centenary of the Armenian Genocide to be held in Russia, etc. He believes the EEU membership won’t harm Armenia’s independence and the NKR.
The aim of the conference to present the huge load of work done in Artsakh.
Abrahamyan touched upon the case of Levon Hayrapetyan, currently under arrest. He urged to wait and see the outcome, as the lawyers work on proving Hayrapetyn’s innocence in a fraud case.
