Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russian energy exports should also be re-routed to Africa and Latin America amid a push to diversify supplies from the West.
He also said that construction of new oil and gas pipelines should be considered from the hydrocarbon fields in West and East Siberia.
Putin suggested meeting fuel demand of domestic consumers, including car owners, transport companies and agriculture.
