Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russian forces struck Ukraine overnight, resulting in four deaths and more than 30 injuries. Residential buildings were damaged in Dnipro, while Chernihiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv were also targeted.
The Russian Ministry of Defense, in turn, stated that 127 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Smolensk, Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Sverdlovsk, and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as the Republic of Tatarstan. Reports also indicate that a residential building in the center of Yekaterinburg was damaged, with casualties reported.
Alongside the hostilities, Kyiv and Moscow have announced a prisoner exchange on a 193-for-193 basis. The United States and the United Arab Emirates mediated the return of the servicemen.
