Reuters. U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday (July 31) said he was ''losing faith'' in talks with Iran while U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters the United States is searching for Iranian assets "all around the world, and that money will go to the Iranian people."
Trump and Bessent made the remarks on Iran at a cabinet meeting held at the Camp David presidential retreat in Maryland.
Trump added that he still believed Iran would make a deal to end the war, noting that the country's military capabilities had been severely degraded by months of U.S. bombing.
