On August 4, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Afyan met with the newly appointed Joint Secretary for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Defence of India, Amit Telang, Armenian Embassy in India reports.
The meeting, which was also attended by the Defence Attaché of the Republic of Armenia to India, Colonel Arkadi Tonoyan, focused on cooperation in the field of defence between the two countries, particularly in the areas of the defence industry and military education, as well as organizational matters related to upcoming bilateral visits.
The sides also discussed ways to ensure the continued momentum of bilateral contacts, further develop cooperation, and deepen the strategic nature of Armenia–India relations.
