Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) echoed the conclusion of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
On the X Platform, the MFA welcomed the Peace Agreement as a “historic step toward lasting peace and stability in the region.”
“Georgia welcomes the conclusion of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on all 17 articles of the Peace Agreement. A historic step toward lasting peace and stability in the region,” it said.
The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through diplomatic channels, has conveyed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan on March 13 that Armenia accepts the proposals of Azerbaijan on the two unresolved articles of the draft “Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
The Armenian MFA proposed issuing a joint statement announcing that the text of the Peace Agreement has been agreed and is ready for signing.
