Russian troops returned control on Sudzha and two more communities in the borderline Kursk Region over the past 24 hours, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.
"Battlegroup North units liberated the settlements of Melovoi, Podol and Sudzha through offensive operations," the ministry said in a statement.
