Referring to the statement of the Azerbaijani side that the Armenian side used Iranian drones yesterday, at the request of Hasmik Hakobyan, deputy of the ‘Civil Contract’ faction of the Parliament, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said:
“Information war is part of any aggression. The aim of disinformation is as follows: look, European Union, you have sent observers to the Republic of Armenia, and Armenia is using a weapon against Azerbaijan, with which you all have problems,” said the Prime Minister.
Pashinyan recalled another incident. In February or March 2022, the same information sources claimed that Armenia’s Su-30SM aircrafts were sent for use against Ukraine. It is an integral part of provocation, another thing is that we need to strengthen our institutional tools to counter information wars and attacks, and we need to do it without harming our democracy,” the Prime Minister said.
