In recent days, the Azerbaijani special services have intensified their attempts to contact people living in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on social networks in order to spread panic among them or to collect information from them.
In another case, a telegram user registered under the alias, presenting herself woman as an Armenian, first had a friendly conversation with a person living in Artsakh, seeking to establish intimacy, send him her nude photos, demanded similar photos, and then under the threat of publishing the content of their communication demanded to provide information photos of different places, promising to pay for the services provided by transferring money to a pre-sent bank account.
The Artsakh National Security Service is checking the circumstances of the above-mentioned case and the information provided to the Azerbaijani special services, the content, the volume, as well as the motives and goals of the action.
The National Security Service of Artsakh urges to refrain from contacting unknown users on social networks and accepting suspicious offers, providing information threatening the security of the Artsakh Republic, and immediately report such requests or suggestions to the National Security Service.
