On the eve of April 24, new high-ranking officials and leaders are joining the call for US President Joe Biden to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide. California State Senator Anthony Portantino released a video urging people to join the Yes It’s Genocide (YesItsGenocide.org) petition.
“Last year the House in the Senate passed the resolutions recognizing the Armenian Genocide. The current administration has a great relationship with the Armenian-American community, and we are all hopeful this year. And in a meantime take a moment and sign the petition, join me. Thank you,” Senator Anthony Portantino stated.
