The participants of the 5th “Armenia - Diaspora” Conference were greeted by the President of Artsakh (NKR), the Catholicos of All-Armenians, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, the Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church. The opening speech was given by PM Hovik Abrahamyan.
This all-Armenian-breathing environment was a benign opportunity to access and evaluate the trinity of Armenia, Artsakh, and Diaspora, their cooperation in the past and in the present, to set the priorities, as well as exchange views on the topical issues for the Armenian nation.
The Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan urged the participants to multiple their efforts and contribute to the motherland’s development. She noted that there were 30.000 Armenian and 15 pan-Armenian organizations worldwide, and if each of these institutions could manage just one investment project in Armenia and create jobs, Armenia would overcome all the challenges.
