British Prime Minister Keir Starmer responded to US President Donald Trump's threat to pull his country out of NATO, Sky News reports.
"NATO is the single most effective military alliance the world has ever seen. It's kept us safe for many decades and we are fully committed to NATO," Starmer said.
He added that "whatever the pressure" on him and other national leaders, he would put the "national interest" first and keep the UK out of the war.

The US president labeled the alliance a “paper tiger” and said removing America from this defense treaty was now “beyond reconsideration.”
