The Russian Foreign Ministry has categorically denied the statements of the Ukrainian authorities about the security of Russian airspace.
As the ministry noted, “they have no legal force, distort the real situation and mislead users of Russian skies.” The department also called on the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization, Juan Carlos Salazar, to “condemn Kyiv’s threats directed against civil aviation.”
In addition, the Foreign Ministry demanded that measures be taken against Ukraine to prevent such statements. It is also emphasized that the ministry is fully committed to ensuring the security of civil aviation.
