On September 7, the RA NA President Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to the Republic of Armenia Andrea Barbara Baumann.
The Ambassador congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on his election as President of the RA National Assembly, wishing him success.
During the meeting the relations formed between Armenia and Switzerland and the need for their further strengthening were highlighted. The importance of developing inter-parliamentary ties was emphasized.
Issues regarding the regional security and stability were also discussed.
