On March 3, the Armenia’s National Assembly President Alen Simonyan received the Director of the Eurasian Regional Program of International Republican Institute (IRI) Stephen Nix, parliamentary press office reports.
During the meeting Alen Simonyan highly appreciated the visible support provided by the United States in implementing the democratic agenda of the Armenian government, also emphasizing in that context the activities of the International Republican Institute aimed at supporting the various reform processes being carried out in Armenia.
The Director of the IRI Eurasian Regional Program Stephen Nix expressed his gratitude to the RA NA President for reception, noting that successful parliamentary cooperation also plays a major role in the effectiveness of their activities in Armenia.
The interlocutors also discussed other issues of bilateral interest.
