The United States will review intelligence data regarding a drone attack on the residence of Vladimir Putin. This was stated by the US Permanent Representative to NATO, Matthew Whitaker. In his assessment, it would be “a bit imprudent” for Kyiv to carry out such an attack at a time when the conflict is approaching the conclusion of a peace agreement. Earlier, the Ukrainian side denied reports of the strike.
At the same time, military hostilities are continuing. Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that overnight, 86 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized over the Black Sea, the Bryansk and Lipetsk regions, Crimea, and Krasnodar Krai. On the night from Tuesday into Wednesday, airports in Gelendzhik, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, and Ivanovo suspended operations. According to media reports, Ukraine attacked a Rosneft facility in Tuapse. It is reported that the strike caused a fire at the oil refinery, covering an area of 300 square meters, which was quickly extinguished.
Russian forces, in turn, struck Odesa. Residential buildings were damaged, and the city was partially left without electricity. An explosion caused a fire in one of the buildings. It is reported that six people were injured as a result of the attack in Odesa, including three children.
