Armenian National Assembly Speaker Ruben Rubinyan received U.S. Chargé d’Affaires David Allen on August 24, the parliament’s press service reported.
The sides discussed deepening Armenia-U.S. interparliamentary cooperation and the agenda for further engagement.
Rubinyan and Allen highlighted the importance of reciprocal visits, noting that they would contribute to strengthening parliamentary dialogue and existing ties between the two countries.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on recent regional developments.
They discussed efforts to establish and institutionalize peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to the National Assembly.
