The relevant agreement is undergoing ratification, and negotiations on establishing the TRIPP company are nearing completion. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during a briefing, referring to the question of what stage the Armenian sector of the TRIPP process is at.
“There are no obstacles, that is, it is a simple working process that takes time, and representatives of Armenia and the United States are working together,” he said.
To another question: what is the main problem hindering peace, what new steps can we expect in the peace process, Pashinyan replied: there are no obstacles to peace, because peace has been established.
“The fact is that peace exists, it lasts, another thing is that we need to take steps towards the institutionalization of peace, and TRIPP is one of the steps towards the institutionalization of peace, because when the roads are opened, and communication and blockades are lifted, it is a very strong guarantee of peace, because all countries will benefit from that peace.
"Work on signing the peace agreement will continue, and we continue to work with the Azerbaijani side on that issue," he said.
