First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda to the Republic of Armenia, Joseph Nzabamwita.
The Ministry of Defense reports that the meeting was also attended by the Defense Attaché of Rwanda to the Republic of Armenia, Colonel Anthony B. Mbagaze.
Lieutenant General Edward Asryan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the position, wishing him success in his responsible mission.
During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation in the field of defense between Armenia and Rwanda were discussed. Views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest.
The Ambassador conveyed to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia the warm greetings of the Chief of the Defense Staff of Rwanda and the readiness to develop bilateral relations.
