Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović.
At a joint press conference following the talks, Bayramov stated that he had briefed his counterpart on the latest developments in the region and on the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as on the agreements reached within the framework of a joint declaration with Washington and the subsequent steps.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister also reported that Azerbaijani companies have invested around one billion U.S. dollars in Montenegro’s economy. New investment opportunities were also discussed during the meeting.
