“I welcome the activity of the Russian Federation in relation to the railway”, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters.
“I want to remind everyone that when, after August 8, there were expert assessments suggesting that this was a negative development for Russia or for Iran, we were saying — no, this decision will contribute to the development and deepening of Armenia–Russia relations. Three months later, we already have concrete developments — 130 wagons. We can imagine, right, how many trucks that would correspond to? I want to emphasize that this fully aligns with our vision of developments since August 8”, the Prime Minister said.
Earlier a train loaded with Russian wheat (15 wagons) arrived in Armenia overnight, passing through the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
