“The Armenian section of the TRIPP railway route still needs to be discussed-the terms and technical solutions must be clarified by Armenia and the United States”, said Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
“Since August 8, we and the U.S. have been working actively in this direction- this is quite literally part of our daily work.
Once we have a complete and final understanding, we will make those terms public. There will be a joint Armenian-American company that will take responsibility for the construction and subsequent operation of the route. All the remaining details that need to be clarified will be finalized and made public.
I want to emphasize once again that what has been agreed upon so far is exactly what has been published and can be found in the relevant Washington declaration. The rest will be jointly developed, clarified, agreed upon, and made public by Armenia and the United States”, he said.
