The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on Thursday released a video of its latest military strike operation against Iran, targeting military command centers, drone storage facilities, communications networks and coastal surveillance sites during a 13th consecutive night of attacks, Reuters reports.
CENTCOM said the operation began at 18:45 Eastern Time and lasted two hours and 15 minutes. The targets also included maritime military capabilities.
Iranian media reported on Friday that the U.S. strikes had caused casualties, while explosions were reported in several parts of Iran and air defense systems were activated in the capital, Tehran.
Power outages were reported in Bandar Abbas, a southern port city near the Strait of Hormuz, while loud explosions were heard on the Qeshm Island, also near the strategic waterway, and in the southwestern city of Ahvaz. Iranian media also reported strikes in Jask, Khorramabad, Khondab and Andimeshk.
