The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Monday that it had carried out a surprise strike on “the enemy’s command center in Syria.” The IRNA news agency also reported that the IRGC had struck US military facilities in Kuwait, including an early warning radar system, which was “destroyed.” Separate strikes targeted an aviation equipment depot and a hangar housing US MQ-9 drones, causing several drones to catch fire.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti army said it had repelled the Iranian attack.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had also launched a missile strike on facilities at the Muwafaq Salt air base in Jordan, which hosts a large US tactical aviation group, state broadcaster IRIB reported. The IRGC claimed that several aircraft hangars were destroyed in the attack.
Bahrain sounded a missile alert on Monday morning, warning of a possible Iranian attack.
