The Defense Forces destroyed 73 drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukraine in the evening, with enemy drones and missiles hitting 21 locations, Ukrinform reports.
As noted, since 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, the invaders have launched a total of 109 drones, including Shahed and Gerbera types, at Ukraine. The launches were carried out from the directions of the Russian cities of Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo.
The Russians also used three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles. The launches were carried out from the Rostov and Voronezh regions.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
It has been preliminarily determined that as of 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, air defenses in the north and east of the country shot down/jammed 73 enemy drones of various types, including Shahed and Gerbera.
Three missiles and 36 Russian strike drones were recorded in 21 locations, with another four locations recording the fall of downed targets (debris).
The military emphasizes that the enemy attack continues. Several Russian UAVs have been detected in the country's airspace. Citizens are urged to follow safety rules.
Ukrinform reported that Russian drones attacked Chernihiv again on the night of October 4. A fire broke out at the strike zone.
