Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres in New York.
The interlocutors highlighted the importance of the initialing of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8 and expressed confidence that it will contribute to ensuring stability and promoting cooperation in the South Caucasus.
The interlocutors touched upon the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, to be held in Armenia from October 18 to 30, 2026, and issues related to cooperation in that direction.
They also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
