Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been established and now needs institutionalization, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government briefing on August 28.
“There is no doubt that I and my Government will decisively and consistently pursue the institutionalization of this peace,” he stated.
Referring to an earlier metaphor, Pashinyan added: “As I said years ago, we would bring our ship to a peaceful harbor. We have already reached that harbor. Now it is necessary to make the piers more reliable, more stable, and well-built.”
“Peace is now irreversible. I consider this to be both my personal mission and the mission of our Government,” the Prime Minister concluded.
