The Kremlin said that Russia really supported Iran with its clear position that it took, and this clear position received a high assessment at the conversation with Mr. Araghchi in Moscow.
“There are many who want to use the situation to add fuel to the fire, to spoil, so to speak, the partnership relations between Moscow and Tehran. This is understandable. Just yesterday, we repeatedly answered questions that Russia really supported Iran with its clear position that it took. This clear position, by the way, received a high assessment at the conversation with Mr. Araghchi, which took place yesterday in Moscow. And, of course, we intend to further develop our relations with Iran," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
