I am pleased to note that several tens of thousands of our compatriots who were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh already have jobs and are working in the Republic of Armenia. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during a parliamentary briefing.
“I am convinced that with our support, they will also be resettled in the Republic of Armenia, and we will do everything to make them feel as fully fulfilled as possible. Although I believe that for this the issue of employment must be resolved, there is no need to do anything else, because they are in their homeland, in their home and will receive citizenship and finally find themselves in their own state,” he announced.
Pashinyan also reminded that programs are currently underway to provide housing, employment, and support to socially vulnerable groups for those displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
