It is a great honor to be in Tallinn today to give a new impetus to the relations between our countries. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this at a joint press conference with Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal.
“I highly value the continued development of relations with Estonia based on universal and democratic values, and we highly appreciate the continuous support provided by the Estonian Government to the democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia.
The Estonian experience in establishing democratic institutions, in particular, the massive use of digital solutions and e-governance tools in them, is exemplary for Armenia, and we are, of course, very interested in this issue and in deepening further cooperation,” the Prime Minister of Armenia said.
He emphasized that in recent years, high-level mutual visits have raised the political dialogue between the two friendly countries to a new level. “Let me express my confidence that through joint efforts we can further deepen the existing cooperation,” the Prime Minister noted.
He also added that of particular interest to us is the deepening of cooperation in the fields of education, science, IT and innovative technologies.
“I am confident that the agreements reached during the visit will add a new quality to bilateral relations.
In addition to bilateral cooperation, we touched upon Armenia-Estonia cooperation in multilateral formats, as well as Armenia-EU partnership agenda.
I presented to my Estonian counterpart the latest developments in Armenia-EU agenda, the European aspirations of Armenia's citizens, expecting the political support of official Tallinn on the difficult and long-term path to the EU,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
