The head of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Jared Isaakman, arrived at Baikonur, journalist Alexander Yunashev reported on July 13.
Isaakman flew to Kazakhstan to greet and personally escort the crew of the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft, which is supposed to deliver Roscosmos cosmonauts Peter Dubrov and Anna Kikina, as well as NASA astronaut Anil Manon, to the International Space Station (ISS).
"NASA Director Jared Isaakman flew to Baikonur to escort the international crew to the ISS tomorrow, together with the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov," Yunashev said in a message on his Telegram channel.
As the journalist noted, before the start of the working day at the cosmodrome, the head of NASA took a jog.
On June 29, the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center reported that the main and backup crews of the Soyuz MS-29 manned spacecraft of the ISS-75 expedition went to the Baikonur cosmodrome, where the final stage of preparations for launch to the ISS will take place. The launch of the Soyuz MS-29 manned spacecraft to the International Space Station is scheduled for July 14.
