Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister of Belgium.
"Congratulations to Bart De Wever on becoming the Prime Minister of Belgium and to all our Belgian partners on the successful conclusion of the coalition talks. We look forward to strengthening Armenia-Belgium high-level political dialogue and deepening our multifaceted ties," Pashinyan stated on
X.
Negotiations on a new Belgian cabinet lasted nearly eight months and ended with a five-party coalition agreement.
The newly elected head of Government, Bart De Wever, who had previously advocated broad autonomy for Flanders, even its separation from Belgium, on Monday swore allegiance to the king, the symbol of the unity of the Belgian federal state.
