On February 28, Armenia's Ambassador to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister of Georgia Irakli Chikovani. This was reported by Armenia's Embassy in Georgia.
At the meeting, reference was made to the cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and Georgia in the field of defense. The signing of the declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries and the deepening of bilateral cooperation within its framework were emphasized.
