The United States is concerned about the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller stated during his regular briefing.
“We remain concerned about the situation. And we continue to urge the two parties to work together to bridge the remaining differences,” he said.
Official Washington reaffirmed its previous assessment that the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is “within reach”.
“We do believe that an agreement is still within reach and we look forward to convening the two parties to move forward," Miller said.
