The Public Chamber of the EAEU countries made an appeal regarding the blocking of the Lachin Corridor.
“The Lachin Corridor should be open in both directions for goods, people and vehicles in accordance with the trilateral statement signed by the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan, on November 9, 2020.
We, the participants and supporters of the Public Chamber of the EAEU member states from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, are deeply concerned about the difficult situation that is close to a humanitarian crisis, and we appeal to the leaders of the EAEU member states, international public humanitarian organizations, calling for humanitarian assistance to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh.
We call on the leadership of Azerbaijan not to turn the situation into a humanitarian disaster and to unblock the ‘road of life’,” the statement reads.
