The ‘yellow’ level of the terrorist threat has been operating in the regions of Russia bordering Ukraine since April 11. It was introduced in Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk oblasts, two regions of Voronezh Oblast, two regions of Krasnodar Krai, as well as in the north of Crimea.
Two explosions rocked Belgorod and Kursk yesterday. A fire broke out in one of the objects of the Ministry of Defense in Belgorod, as a result of which one resident was injured and seven houses were destroyed. Later the fire was isolated.
On the same day, a railway bridge in the Kursk partially collapsed due to an explosion. The governor of the oblast called the incident a sabotage.
The Russian Defense Ministry has stated that it will strike at "subversive decision-making centers", including in Kyiv, if the Ukrainian side continues to strike at Russian targets. They noted that until now the Russian army had refrained from such actions.
