Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili signed an application of Georgia to join the European Union.
“Today is a historical day for our country. Georgia is closer to the EU than ever. Since 2014, when we signed the association agreement with the EU, we are consistently fulfilling our commitments, registering progress in the legal, economic and political spheres in the case of rapprochement with the EU”, Garibashvili announced.
He mentioned that Georgia strives to become a full member of the European family.
