While Turkish politicians continue to talk about deporting Syrian refugees back to Syria, former al-Qaeda commander Manar al-Shami is acquiring Turkish citizenship. American journalist Lindsey Snell reported this on her Twitter.
“As Turkish politicians continue to talk about deporting Syrian refugees back to Syria, former al-Qaeda commander Manar Al-Shami gets Turkish citizenship,” Snell wrote.
This is not the first time that well-known terrorists have received Turkish citizenship and are living freely in a country that supports their crimes.
