Moscow initially came out from the position of “exchange of all for all,” but it will resolve the issue in the way that is possible. The Russian authorities will continue to work on the return of Armenian prisoners from Azerbaijan, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin told reporters on Wednesday, Sputnik reports.
“This issue is one of the priorities of the Russian leadership and the command of the peacekeeping contingent. Our position is known, it was stated from the very beginning – “exchange of all for all.” But we will solve it in the way that is possible,” Kopirkin said.
According to him, work in this direction will continue. On July 3, 15 prisoners returned to Armenia with the mediation of the Russian side.
