The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on the incidents on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, expressing deep concern.
"The Russian Foreign Ministry is seriously concerned about the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. According to the information received, the hostilities continue. Artillery is used. There are victims and wounded.
We consider inadmissible the further aggravation of the situation threatening the security of the region.
We call on the conflicting parties to show restraint, to strictly follow the ceasefire. The Russian Foreign Ministry is ready to provide the necessary assistance to stabilize the situation", the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
To remind- In the afternoon of July 12 the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces attempted to cross the RA state border in the direction of Tavush. As a result of response 4 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were killed and several others were wounded.
