For the first time within the last 23 years after the adoption of the Constitution, the President of Armenia used his authority to appeal the constitutionality of legal acts. Armen Sarkissian has appealed to the Constitutional Court to clarify the constitutionality of the election and nomination deadlines of Constitutional Court judges.
