"Luka film" financed 6 out of 23 suggestions presented in the contest, one of which was the graduate of All-Russian State University of Cinematography Aspet Shermazyan's project.
The film takes place in one of the villages of Lori, where the lonely father is visited by his sons who long ago abandoned their home and country. In the film the roles of two sons of Gevorg grandfather are played by Khoren and Arsen Levonyans who will join the shooting group in a few days. The role of Gevorg plays painter-photographer Samvel Sevada.
The young director chose the village of his ancestors Hovnanadzor as the film site. There was a great wave of migration from this little village even in the Soviet years, there are many abandoned and ruined houses.
