Serj Sargsyan stressed the importance of the visits of the friends of Armenia and their attendance to the commemoration ceremonies especially in 2015.
President Serj Sargsyan on 2nd March met the Israeli Historian and expert in Genocide and Holocaust Yair Auron and his companion writer-publicist Zori Balayan in the presidential residence. The president greeted the guest stressing that he is very glad to meet again one of the finest friends of Armenian people in Yerevan.
Serj Sargsyan stressed the importance of the visits of the friends of Armenia and their attendance to the commemoration ceremonies especially in 2015, on the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide. Serj Sargsyan once again expressed his gratitude to the great Israeli intellectual for his priceless merit in international recognition and condemnation of the Genocide and his readiness to help Armenian people.
President welcomed Yair Auron's trip to the Artsakh Republic during his visit. Yair Auron expressed his gratitude for the warm words and mentioned that he is greatly impressed by the Nagorno Karabakh and its pacifist and honorable inhabitants.
