The Lithuanian experience to be followed in Armenia to grant the security of schoolchildren. Special light reflectors to be attached to their hands to make the drivers more careful. The idea is generated by Ericas Petrikas, the Ambassador of Lithuania to Armenia.
Today he visited the Yerevan Gurgen Mahari school, and handed the new and the interesting means of security to the children. The initiative is by the Mahari’s wife, Lithuanian Antonina Mahari. Thus, 160 first class goers will further pass their ways from home to school and back more safely and will avoid risks.
Ambassador Ericas Petrikas says due to these and other kinds of technical means the toll of road accidents and deaths have greatly reduced in Lithuania for the recent few years. Lithuania’s representative to our country thanked the Chief of Police, the Minister of Education and Yerevan Mayor for the opportunity of realizing his idea.
