On September 7, the RA NA President Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Armenia Eva Sundquist.
Eva Sundquist congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on his election as the President of the RA National Assembly, wishing him fruitful work and success.
The interlocutors touched upon the friendly relations established between Armenia and Sweden, emphasizing the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and further developing existing ties.
Ruben Rubinyan and Eva Sundqvist also attached importance to the expansion of cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and the activation of inter-parliamentary contacts.
Regional issues and recent developments were also touched upon.
