EU member states are already reviewing Ukraine's request to purchase missiles for the Patriot system. This involves several billion euros from a 90-billion-euro loan, according to European Pravda.
Ukraine has submitted a request to the European Commission to use several billion euros from a loan totaling 90 billion euros to purchase PAC-3 missiles for the Patriot air defense systems. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced this during a briefing in Brussels.
She says that the EU received a new request for disbursement that day, which amounts to several billion euros and is intended to cover Ukraine's air defense costs, including highly effective PAC-3 air defense systems.
According to von der Leyen, member states are currently reviewing Ukraine's request, and it is moving in the right direction.
