Deeply saddened by the news of the horrible flash floods that struck Nepal and China, causing so many fatalities and devastation. This is stated in the note on X of Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Sincere condolences to the families of all the victims, with prayers for the swift recovery of all those affected," the statement reads.
Earlier, media reported that the death toll from massive floods in Nepal and China has exceeded 160. More than 820 people are missing. According to Reuters, about 500 of them are foreigners from 28 countries. Security personnel were also injured.
