On August 24, the RA NA President Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin.
Issues related to the further deepening and expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Armenia and Russia were discussed.
Ruben Rubinyan underscored that the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia intends to continue the constructive dialogue and develop long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.
The parties attached importance to the activities of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the RA NA (National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia) and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, highly appreciating the joint work.
The interlocutors expressed confidence that the development of bilateral cooperation will contribute to joint efforts aimed at the effective resolution of a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
