Turkey called for accelerating efforts to resolve the Russia–Ukraine conflict.
Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler stated that Ankara considers it important to achieve a settlement as soon as possible, as the conflict affects the security of Europe and NATO.
According to him, Turkey has pursued a balanced, principled, and constructive policy from the outset and is among the few NATO countries capable of conducting negotiations with both Ukraine and Russia.
